Professor Moran was invited to guest lecture on Friday, August 17th on the subject of Forensic Archaeology: theory and practice.  The lecture was part of a 2-week field course in decomposition ecology taught by Denise Gemmellaro, a PhD candidate and board-certified forensic entomologist, from the Rutgers-New Brunswick Department of Entomology.  The course has run for several years at the NJ School of Conservation in the Stokes State Forrest, Sussex County and attracts participants from around the world.  This year the course had over 40 students.  Professor Moran plans to attend in the future and looks forward to future collaborations with Denise and her colleagues.
